Charges works from the Netherlands and is therefore subject to Dutch law. This means I do not need to charge VAT.  Rates are based on your annual income:

Gross income per annum Tariff per session
up to 20.000 Euro 45,00 Euro
20.000 – 30.000 Euro 55,00 Euro
more than 30.000 Euro 70,00 Euro

All sessions are 50 minutes in length, usually couples counselling is done using double sessions of an hour and 40 minutes at a time.

Health insurance
If you are a Dutch resident, your obligatory health insurance does not cover these charges. This does not mean that you are better off going to a psychologist contracted into the health insurance system, especially if you haven’t yet used up your own risk. Contracted psychological aid is charged at a rate of around 92 Euro per session. If you have a DSM-diagnosis, a maximum of 12 sessions per year are covered, whereas most (evidence-based) treatments require a minimum of 20 sessions. At we don’t bother with DSM diagnoses (even though we’re fully versed in making such a diagnosis), we simply help you deal with the issues at hand using state-of-the-art interventions.
